My personal example was this, we did a test on my home when I was first getting interested. It was found that there were some very serious air leaks around some in-wall speakers. I purchased $15.00 worth of supplies at Home Depot and fixed the leaks. Re-testing showed that I had reduced the air-leakage by 12% in my home. I was convinced.
